This policy explains what personal data The Remote Work Concierge collects, why, and what your rights are. We aim to collect as little as we need and to be straight with you about all of it.
The data controller is The Remote Work Concierge Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number to be confirmed on incorporation). Contact us about anything in this policy at hello@theremoteworkconcierge.com.
We only collect what you give us or what's needed to run the service:
We don't ask for special-category data (such as health or ethnicity). Please don't include sensitive personal information in free-text fields.
Under UK GDPR we rely on:
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, each acting under contract and only as needed:
We may also disclose data if required by law. If the business is ever restructured or sold, data may transfer as part of that, under the same protections.
When you book travel via a link in your Trip Design, you do that directly with the provider. Any data you give them is handled under their privacy policy, not ours.
Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum) so your data keeps a similar level of protection.
We keep enquiry and Trip Design data for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return, then delete or anonymise it. Records we must keep for legal or tax reasons are held for the required period. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights).
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct it; have it deleted; restrict or object to how we use it; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@theremoteworkconcierge.com and we'll respond within one month.
If we send occasional updates about designing your trip or related ideas, every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out any time by replying or emailing us. We'll always send the transactional emails you've asked for (like your Trip Design or a requested download) regardless.
We use reputable providers and sensible measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will tell you and the regulator about any breach where we're required to.
Questions or requests: hello@theremoteworkconcierge.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
