These terms govern your use of The Remote Work Concierge website and design service. By using the site, taking the quiz, or purchasing a Trip Design, you agree to them. Please read them, particularly the sections on what we do not do, bookings, and liability.
"We", "us", "our" and "The Remote Work Concierge" refer to The Remote Work Concierge Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number to be confirmed on incorporation), trading as The Remote Work Concierge. You can reach us at hello@theremoteworkconcierge.com.
"You" means the person using the site or purchasing a Trip Design.
The Remote Work Concierge is a trip design service. We research and design bespoke working-trip plans, where to go, where to stay, where to work, how the trip fits around your job, with indicative pricing and direct links to providers.
We are not a travel agent, tour operator, or travel agency, and we do not sell, resell, package, or arrange travel. We do not make bookings on your behalf, we do not take payment for any travel service, and no travel money ever passes through us.
Because of this, the Trip Designs we provide are not "packages" or "linked travel arrangements" under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, and we are not an ATOL holder. Every travel element in a Trip Design is presented to you together, as information and recommendations, for you to book yourself, directly with each provider, under that provider's own terms.
When you complete our quiz, we may provide a free "mini" Trip Design, an outline of a suggested trip, with certain provider names and booking links withheld. If you purchase a full Trip Design, we provide the complete plan, including provider names and direct booking links, normally delivered the same working day or within one working day.
A Trip Design is a set of recommendations and information. It is shaped by the details you give us and by data and research available to us at the time. We take care to make it accurate and useful, but:
Our fee is a design fee for the work of researching and designing your Trip Design. For individuals this is £49 per trip (one fee per trip, regardless of how many people travel). For business customers, design fees are agreed separately, typically £49–£99 per trip with volume pricing. The fee is for the design service only and does not include the cost of any travel, which you pay directly to providers.
Satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with your Trip Design, tell us within 14 days of delivery. We will first offer to redesign it once to better fit your brief. If you are still not satisfied, we will refund the design fee in full. Refunds are issued to your original payment method, normally within a few business days. The guarantee covers the design service; it does not cover any costs you incur booking travel.
Where you purchase a Trip Design as a "digital service" that we begin providing immediately, you agree that we may start work right away; your statutory cancellation rights are addressed by the satisfaction guarantee above, which is more generous than the standard position.
You book every travel element yourself, directly with each provider, in your own name, on your own payment method. We never hold, handle, or take payment for travel. Your contract for each flight, stay, workspace or experience is with that provider alone, under their terms and conditions.
This means your consumer protections (for example card chargeback rights, any provider-level protections, airline and accommodation policies) sit with the provider you book with, exactly as if you had found and booked them yourself. We are not a party to those bookings and have no role in cancellations, changes, refunds or disputes relating to them.
Some of the booking links in a Trip Design are affiliate or referral links. If you book through one, we may earn a commission from the provider. This never changes the price you pay, the commission comes out of the provider's margin, not on top of your cost. We only ever recommend what we believe genuinely fits your brief; an affiliate relationship does not influence what we recommend. You are always free to book the same provider directly without using our link.
The Remote Work Concierge is not a legal, tax, immigration, financial or medical adviser, and nothing we provide is professional advice. Information we give about visas, entry requirements, tax thresholds, social security, work authorisation or employer policies is general, may not be current, and may not apply to your situation.
You are responsible for confirming entry and visa requirements, tax and social-security implications, your right to work remotely from the destination, travel insurance, health requirements, and your employer's remote-work policy, with the relevant authorities and a suitably qualified adviser, before you travel or book.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, and because we provide a design and information service only:
This section does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
The site, its content, and the Trip Designs we create are our intellectual property and are provided to you for your own personal (or, for business customers, internal) use in planning the relevant trip. Please don't resell, republish or redistribute them.
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above shows the current version, and the version that applied when you purchased continues to govern that purchase. For any question about these terms, email hello@theremoteworkconcierge.com.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
