Why this works
An hour's flight, an hour's time difference, and an apartment that's ready to work the morning she lands.
Berlin assignments fail in the gaps: a hotel desk that ruins a month of calls, wifi that was never tested, a commute nobody checked. This proposal closes them. The apartment was sourced by hand for this brief (premium tier), its connection speed-tested in the room, the door-to-desk commute timed on the U8. Maya lands Sunday afternoon and is at the office Monday at nine, with nothing left to sort.
Flights · book direct with the airline
Out on the first, back on the twenty-eighth.
Fares for one traveller, checked today. The flexible fare is worth the difference on assignments: dates move.

A hand-sourced one-bed, twelve minutes from the office.
This is what the £99 premium proposal buys: not a hotel from an inventory feed, but an individual apartment we sourced, whose host we vetted, and whose wifi we tested in the room. Quiet, courtyard-facing, and set up for a month of real work.

The shape of the assignment
Four weeks that land on their feet.
Week 1
Land & deliver
Sunday arrival, keys at 3pm, groceries on Maybachufer. Monday at the office by 9. BVG monthly pass and eSIM are pre-arranged, so the week is about the work and the team, not logistics.
Weeks 2-3
The rhythm
Office anchor days plus focus days from the flat or the Factory Berlin flex pass. Canal runs before work, Markthalle Neun on Thursdays, a free weekend each for Museum Island or a train to Leipzig.
Week 4
Wrap & handover
Handover sessions booked early in the week, a team dinner Thursday, checkout inspection arranged with the host Friday. Fly home Saturday with the deposit released before wheels-up.
The portfolio · every line billed direct
One trip, one audit-ready page.
Each line is booked by you or the traveller, direct with the provider, on your corporate card, with the provider's own receipt. Nothing flows through us.

Duty of care & the practical file
The questions your mobility team will ask anyway.
Entry
90-day Schengen allowance for UK passports covers the stay. Passport valid 3 months beyond return, issued within 10 years.
Work authorisation
Short assignments like this are routine, but visa-free travel does not itself grant work rights: your mobility or legal team should confirm the basis (and an A1 certificate for social security) before booking. The checklist is attached to this Trip Design.
Connectivity
eSIM arranged before departure (~£15 for the month) as backup to the flat's tested fibre and the office network.
Getting around
BVG monthly AB pass covers everything including the airport train. The commute is two stops on the U8; a bike-share membership is the summer alternative.
Insurance & safety
Every booking is in the traveller's name, so your existing travel-safety and insurance arrangements apply unchanged. We hold the host and building contacts on file throughout.
Support
A designer on call for the length of the assignment: extensions, a moved return flight, a host question. Reply to the Trip Design email; answers within a working day.
Why teams run trips this way
Nothing to onboard.
We're a design service, not a travel supplier: no agency contract, no held funds, no procurement process. The only commercial line is the per-trip fee, invoiced monthly.
Audit-ready by default.
One portfolio per trip, every cost on your own cards with provider receipts. Finance sees exactly what was spent, where, with nobody's margin hidden inside.
Travellers who land working.
Verified wifi, a real desk, a timed commute and a settled first Monday. The difference between an assignment and a lost week is preparation, and that's the product.
